Training Producer

Description:

The Training Producer is responsible for working with the Product Management team and the Author to develop and deliver training products that meet the needs of our customers. The Training Producer is responsible for working with the author to develop and prepare the training, directing the author during recording, and working with the production team to ensure the training meets our quality standards and release schedule. The Training Producer is responsible for overseeing multiple projects at the same time in various stages of the product development cycle.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Communicating with Product Management to understand the product requirements and, in turn, working with the author to develop a training course that meets those product requirements.
  • Working with authors to oversee the development of the Table of Contents, outlines for each lesson, and required any assets.
  • Working with contract designers to coordinate the creation assets for training courses as required by authors.
  • Handling all logistics of the video recording, including making sure authors are prepared prior to recording.
  • Coordinating all aspects of the recording and confirming that all people, assets, and equipment are available when required.
  • Working with the author to ensure all aspects of the video training are completed correctly, once the video recording is in process.
  • Managing and meeting release dates of projects by working effectively with other internal departments.
  • Working with the production team to resolve any issues during post recording.
  • Reviewing issues logged by the Quality Assurance team, including working with authors as necessary to resolve any issues prior to the release of the course.
  • Managing multiple video training projects at one time in various stages of the product development cycle.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A 4-year degree in technology, education, or communication-related program.
  • An understanding of the creative professional market, specifically Web design and Web development.
  • Minimum 3-5 years teaching or training experience in the software and technology field, specifically working with the Adobe Creative Suite product line.
  • Experience developing online training content incorporating video or audio media.
  • Ability to develop effective training materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in various stages of a product development cycle.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Good communication skills as well as patience and the ability to motivate others
  • Strong software skills and experience in both Mac and PC markets.
  • Nurturing and the ability to work with a very wide range of personalities.
